We really like Orem Summerfest. Ever since the year I bought my favorite sunhat from a booth there (that was later lost at Multnomah Falls in Oregon, may it rest in peace) - we've tried to hit it up if possible. This year, it seemed like the perfect thing to do as a last hurrah before our sweet baby arrives. My mom is here staying with us, so she stayed home with Caleb so that I could go on a little field trip with Lydia and Austin.
We waited in line for a hundred years (and through a microburst rainstorm) to get some balloon animals and we found a pretend car wash station by Austin's favorite car wash place - Wiggy Wash.
I gave them each $5 that they could spend. Austin bought cotton candy and Lydia decided to play a basketball game and the (very kind & generous) attendant let her pick a prize.

And there was a whole tent filled with reptiles and snakes (including a large alligator), which was random but kind of fun.

It was such a fun, perfect last hurrah with these kids of mine. Things are going to slow down a little bit once baby sister gets here and so it was fun to be able to squeeze this adventure in - for all of us.
Orem Summerfest for the win, again! (Other than they didn't have a good replacement sun hat, I'm still searching for the perfect replacement.)
