(Among other things: Lydia's birthday week, Branding 2016, and the Scandinavian Festival!)

Spending time with this group of kids is my favorite! We had a sleepover last night and it was pretty much the best ever. #bestlittlefriends

A good day! Shopping for new summer clothes for the kids, lunch with Cal and Sue, a nice visit with Great Grandma Peaden (Grandma Joyce), and an evening celebrating Lydia's birthday week at Trafalga. #itsagoodlife #especiallywhenitsabirthdayweek

This girl has my heart. (Sentimental post ahead!) She picked out a special dress for our neighborhood Cinco de Mayo party, complete with fairy wings and her bike helmet that she was wearing as she rode her new bike up and down the street. (Side note: we live in the best neighborhood ever! The party tonight was so fun. Great food + great people + a pinata = super success.) The sight of her riding her bike up and down the road was so sweet. Then tonight after I put her to bed, she crept down the stairs for a lullaby. I was talking on the phone but let her come cuddle with me on the couch. I rubbed her back until she fell asleep, then carried her up to bed. It was the perfect last night as a three year old. Tomorrow she will wake up and be FOUR! She seems to have grown into that big number 4 in just such a short amount of time. I can't believe how big and how sweet she is. I will miss my little 3 year old girl, but can't wait to see what year #4 brings us! #mylydiagirl

Four years looks good on this girl. We had a great day doing all the things that she wanted to do. We had a little friend party this morning and I was overwhelmed with how many wonderful people we are surrounded with!#feelingblessed Then we spent the afternoon playing on the bounce houses at Kangaroo Zoo with her future prom date/best friend. We finished out the night with pizza for dinner, per Lydia's request. I don't know that she'll ever remember anything we did today, but I do hope that she remembers how special she felt and how loved she is! Happy birthday sweet girl! #lovehersomuch #thoserainbootsareherfavorite

Branding 2016. I love that my kids have the chance to grow up with this as a part of their lives. Austin said the word cow about 1,000 times. He wasn't sure how here felt about everything, except that he couldn't believe how many cows there were. Lydia loves Grandma and Grandpa Great's house more than almost anywhere else. She really missed Grandma-Great and kept asking why she wasn't in her chair. (Such a heartbreak.) We all missed my grandma, especially because it was her birthday this past week. All in all it was a wonderful day.

So glad to be back from the land of lakes and spend time with Lydia. Happy birthday a day late.

We got to talk to my little bro for the last time until he comes home from serving in the Edmonton Canada Mission. (August! I can't wait!) He is so amazing and such an inspiration to me. He shared his thoughts about the Atonement, works and grace. I love the concept that our works help us become more like the Savior and that His grace saves us in spite of our mistakes. I'm so grateful for the Atonement of Jesus Christ that makes it possible for me to be better than I am today, and for Jacob who so selflessly shares that message with the people of Canada... and with me. #servingthelord #3moremonths #cantwaitforAustintomeethim

Trying to figure out outfits for family pictures this week. It's a task! So grateful for @davidpeaden who helps every step of the way. I'm sooooo excited for Thursday! #alimiddletonphoto #imightcreateafacebookpoll #somanyoptions

We had the incredible @alimiddleton come take pictures of our family in our home yesterday and to say that I'm happy with how things went is an understatement! She is amazing behind the camera, turning our chaos into beauty. I can not wait to see the final product! Having pictures in and around our home is such a treasure.

Our Stake Conference today was held at the Alpine Tabernacle in American Fork. The building was beautiful and the meeting was filled with the spirit (even if halfway through we looked at each other over our grumpy children and wondered if we'd survive). I'm grateful for #Hisday because it gives me the chance to reflect on the Atonement of the Savior and the things I can change to be more like Him.

Girls day! David stayed home with the kids so I could go, and we had such a nice time. Hobby Lobby was the perfect place to find some darling decorations for @amypeaden1's new house. I'm so grateful for this family that I married into, who have accepted me as their own. @rencher_smile @suepeaden #buyallthedecorations

Forgive the upconing insta-overload, but we had such a great day! We got rained on while waiting in line for food at the Scandinavian Festival, but that Sanpete Turkey and Picadillies was soooo worth it. I love being back "home". I wished for the hundred-thousandth time that my parents still lived in Ephraim. #backtomyroots #scandinavianfestival #thatsanpeteturkeythough

Lydia's first time doing the "Chester Challenge". She loves it so much she requested we do it on the way home, too.#holdyourbreaththroughthewholetownofchester#sharingmychildhoodwithmyfamily

Families can be together forever through our Heavenly Father's plan. So grateful that these ones are my family. We all loved the Scandinavian festival in Ephraim. #mantitemple #loveisspokenhere
