Pictures from the Big Computer

I was cleaning off the desktop of our big computer and there were a plethora of pictures that I have pulled out for some reason or other and have left there gathering dust. I'm sure that most of these things are in other places so I could have just deleted them without posting them here, but I thought it would be a fun glimpse into our life.

Our Red Ladder Design Logo:

David, Lydia, and I at her baptism. This is my favorite picture of her entire baptism day. I love it so much.

A picture of me in New York at the corner of the sewing district. You can't tell very well, but this is a giant needle going through an even more giant button. I have no idea why it's on our desktop, but... fun!

Oh, I found another New York photo! Aubrey, Bruce, Wendy, Lydia, David

Lydia and Henry when they were about 3-4. Hopefully someday I'll use this in their wedding video. (I'm joking.. of course... kind of...)

Some wyoming pictures. Our family on the wagon when my Grandpa was the Rodeo Grand Marshall. A picture I took at branding in 2022.

Our beautiful house!

A picture of a darling baptism jumpsuit that I saw several years ago. I thought that maybe I would make one for Lydia. I didn't. But maybe I will make one for Lucy. So cute.

Screen Shots

I wanted to blog about something tonight. I thought: "Maybe the fact that we recently got a piano (yay!), or that Lydia has started climbing onto things and jumping off of them hoping that you'll catch her, or maybe that David's birthday is this weekend and I am so excited to celebrate that I might have to retrain myself from jumping up and down on a daily basis." But then I decided that I didn't want to get the camera and upload my photos to my computer - so I did the next best thing.

Here are some screen shots of things that are happing in life/on my computer right now:

Our last blog book that we printed was large. The largest to date. However, it's only October and we already have twenty more blog posts (twenty-one including this one) than we did last year. And we still have all of the Fall/Winter Holidays to blog about. I'm hoping that everything will still fit into one book!

I got this e-mail from David yesterday. Such a true life lesson. *Sigh* the life of being a contact-wearer.  Poor boy. (However, I loved the email and think that we should start doing posts titled "Life Lessons.")

Speaking of being a contact wearer - I haven't been for the last several weeks. I always am surprised when Fall comes around and my allergies start acting up so much that I can't wear contacts. You'd think that I'd remember that this happens every. single. year. We've been talking about getting me new glasses for a while (the ones I wear now are the same ones that I got in middle school). But I've kind of been dragging my feet because I don't wear them that often (apparently, except during the 2 1/2 months of fall allergy season), and the prescription has still been decent. But I'm to the point that I really do need new glasses. It's hard to read signs from far away (even ordering at a food place), I can't see very well in the dark,  and my eyes just have a hard time focusing. So I'm all in - we are getting new glasses for me soon. I've been doing some research - but I have no idea what style to go with. I wish I could just by my exact same glasses in a silver finish. (The frames bend all crazy like, so they won't ever break.) I just want something simple and stylish and umm... simple. I don't know.

My little sister is awesome. She's also famous! I love that she goes to UVU and lives so close.

Her twin- Elder Matthew Walker is currently serving in the New Jersey Morristown Mission. He gets home in three short months! (This counts as a screen shot because as I was loading my other screen shots this one popped up that has just been sitting on the desktop since... Christmas? Wow. But it was a screen shot and I've been thinking so much about him lately. I can't believe he comes home so soon.
) Look at how happy he is, and look at how happy our family is talking to him.

Studio C just started up with their new season! We haven't actually watched the first episode yet, because we've been busy - but I'm hoping we see more of the shoulder angel. The last skit of the end of last season was my absolute favorite skit ever.

David and I are having a friendly competition choosing the best NFL teams each week. David is winning, but I'm close behind. The winner of each week gets a backrub or footrub. Needless to say, I'm motivated to win. Plus, David loves sporting and I love him - so it's win, win, win!

My facebook profile picture? Still my favorite picture of us EVER. I love it so much.

And that, my friends, is another random post from this blogger.  Goodnight!
