Fall General Conference

We are so grateful for the opportunity to listen to the prophet and apostles. It is truly a blessing to hear their words and even more so a blessing to heed them. I pray that we will do so over the next six months.

Oddly, most of our conference pictures are about the things we did in addition to conference, but I'll share it all anyway. We had our normal conference treats and also pictures of the Apostles for the kids when they spoke. Plus we had bowls of candy for key words to listen for to be able to get a candy.

On Saturday morning we went early to Home Depot to work on the Home Depot craft.

Then between morning and afternoon session, we installed our Christmas lights. I have been relectant to do this in the past because of all the work and Shantel has always wanted to do it. So this year we finally bought the lights and put them up. It was actually not bad. Although, so funny because our kids thought we were crazy climbing up on the roof.

We are excited to listen to the talks again and work to more closely follow the Savior. 

Meet the Jazz

Since Lydia is doing Jr. Jazz this year, she got to go to the meet the Jazz event and go in early to do a bunch of fun activities. I loved going to this with Lydia. It was fun to let her pick and choose what she wanted to do.

Then she got go down on the floor and shoot a layup/free throw. It was really cool for her to get to shoot down there.

Then we stayed to watch the meet the Jazz.

I am so excited for Lydia to participate in Jr. Jazz. Her other favorite things at the event. Getting free popcorn and a Rudy Gobert cup. She also loved the other games they had set up around the arena.
