Remember several years ago when we experienced our "Summer of Dreams"?
Also remember how this spring I read a book called "The Power of Fun"?
Well, we decided that this summer was going to be our "Summer of Fun". We brainstormed a whole bunch of ideas that we wanted to do and made three checkboxes for each one (because more is more fun, right?) We loved it. I loved building a framework for our family to have fun and making time for opportunities for quality time together. The kids loved having something to look forward to, and in truth, these things filled up our summer so much that we barely had time for the other things. But it was the perfect thing for this summer because especially after a couple of Covid-summers this was exactly what we needed.
Here are some of the things on our list:
