Independence Day

We had an awesome Independence day this year. Shantel's parents and Grandma Knowles came down to spend the afternoon at our house. It was so nice to have them here. Grandma Knowles loves Independence day. We had a BBQ and sat outside together. 

After the Walker's went home, we went over around the corner to a big neighborhood block party. There were kids playing all over the street and they did fireworks for everyone. Our kids loved it. It is hard to see, but Lydia and Austin were sitting across the street from us and it was so great to watch their faces during the fireworks show. 

After the street fireworks, our kids played with the other kids. Then we walked over to the stake center grass area and watch the Lehi City fireworks at Thanksgiving Point from there. Austin loves fireworks so much, it was a dream day for him. 

Rugby was staying out our house, so we let Lydia sleep with him in the kitchen and Austin got to sleep downstairs on the couch too. 

I had the 5th off of work, so we went to the pool with the kids.
