Science Fair 2023 (3rd Annual)

The Science Fair is one of our very favorite parts of our spring homeschool. This started as a small dream in 2020 and it has grown into something really special. This year we had 34 kids participate and I was so impressed with the projects and kid's presentations.

This year we moved our location to Kimber Academy and extended invitations to a wider homeschool pool. We also brought back the Science Fair Kickoff and even though it was a massive amount of work, and there were a few bumps along the way - I am glad that we did it.

(hilariously, I typed on ALL of our materials "4th Annual", when this is actually only our 3rd science fair. Why? I don't know. But I didn't change it and didn't tell anyone tha tit was wrong. I'm just going to keep it the same next year and hope no one notices that we had two "4th annual" science fairs, ha")

The actual science fair was fantasic and the only think I would have changed would have been access to a microphone for the kids. Lydia, Austin, and Caleb all presented and did fantastic. Lydia ended up winning 3rd place, which was so fun for her (and well deserved considering she baked and handed out donuts as part of her project).

I am glad to be able to add something of value to the homeschool community. This science fair is important to me to have for my kids and it's made so so much better with this great group of kids.
