Happy Friday! This week has been a blur of birthday fun and house building progression. I can't believe how quickly weeks can pass by. It's incredible. I have a whole list of posts to blog about - and so hopefully this next week I will work my way through them. But as for today, here are some fun things that have been going on around here that don't really deserve a whole post of their own (and some that do).

#1 - It is David's birthday week! We do birthdays pretty big around here and this week has been wonderful. You can read about David's birthday in the previous post (I just updated it with pictures of the rest of the night, including his awesome presents!)

#2- Once Upon a Time is back! This is the first show that David and I have ever watched on TV. All of our other shows are on Netflix and we tend to shoot through them pretty quickly. (I saw a poster the other day that said "I don't always find a show I like to watch on Netflix, but when I do - I finish all six seasons in two weeks." We laughed and laughed, because we are SO guilty of that!) It has been fun to have something to look forward to each week as we get more and more into the story. It's such a cute show and is really family friendly. I want to support shows like that so that the TV industry knows that there are people out there who really want shows like that. Once Upon a Time is the perfect blend of fairy tale and the 21st century. We love it!

#3- Lydia is one loved little girl. (I know, news flash, right?) While in West Jordan for General Conference David and I walked into the kitchen to see this. Everyone gathered around her just talking to her and watching her. It was like this pretty much the whole weekend. She is such a little diva already - she just basks in the attention that everyone heaps upon her. Also, look at her cute boots. I've never seen something so cute as Lydia in her little boots! 

 (I couldn't resist including this one of Lydia snuggling up to her dad. I love them both so much.) 

#4- It's really starting to feel like Fall outside. I love it. Cardigan weather for sure. I'm trying to convince David to come to Target with me so I can buy some new brown boots. I'm SO excited!

#5 - I have a whole post to write about this, but suffice it to say our house is progressing along wonderfully! The foundation is all poured and it is awesome. More pictures to come soon.
