Austin Birthday - Austin Turns Six.

Austin turned six this month. We are so glad that he is in our family. He brings so much joy and happiness. He has been so excited for his birthday and has been planning it for month. He has a whole menu of what he wants to eat (Breakfast: Waffles, Lunch: Macaroni and Cheese, and dinner: Little Caesars Pizza, and hot dogs up the canyon). How could we say no to those? (We also did not get to go camping this year with COVID which Austin really missed. We wanted to make sure he had a nice time to go up the canyon and have a fire with Marshmallows, which is what he really wanted). 

Here he is with his bags with a special thing for each day during his birthday week. 

The day before his birthday we made a visit to my parents for a social distanced (in the garage because it was raining) birthday party with Grandma and Grandpa. They got him a drone that he absolutely loved!

Here are a few pictures from his party. (Okay- a lot of pictures, but they are so much fun). 

Austin wanted a "Tortuga" cake for his birthday. The characters in his favorite show "Wild Kratts" fly around in a ship called the Tortuga. He wanted it to be giant and Shantel made it just the way he wanted it. 

That evening his cousins joined us as we went up the canyon to roast hot dogs and marshmallows. We also got him the little caesars pizza. 

We went to "Swinging Bridge" picnic area and found our favorite picnic table. We love it because right behind is this giant rock hill to climb.
