Dear Lydia

Today you looked up at me and I was overwhelmed with emotion. You had just finished eating and you were so happy and content. I laid you in my lap and you stared up at me with your big blue eyes. I could see the peace and love on your face. It made me melt. I told you that I loved you and I saw a tiny glint of understanding. I am so grateful to be your mom. You are such an angel and I couldn't love snuggling you close more than I already do. You mean the world to me.
