This past month was a big one for our Lucy girl. Christmas. LOTS of extended family time. A new year. Back to real church for the first time in months and months and months. Snow! We sure love this girl and we are glad to have her with us through this life of ours.
Stats: No official stats, but.. her hair is still very short. She has almost a whole mouthful of teeth. 12-18 month clothes.
Here are some thing to remember about this past month:
-She's happy and opinionated and wants to do everything that the big kids do.
-She is interested into the world around her and gets into all sorts of trouble as she "explores" the world around her.
-We celebrated Christmas which is such a fun thing at this age.
-Says cheese (only when posing for a picture), mama, dada, thank you, and more.
-We spent a bunch of time at the Peaden Home, where she was endlessly doted upon by Grandma and Grandpa, and her Aunts and Uncles. Then more time at the Walker Home where she played with Juniper - her cousin closest to her in age (they look like twins) and Rugby (my parents dog whom she LOVES).
-After the holidays we went back to church (we've been doing home church for months in preparation to be able to spend Christmas with Cal and Sue). It was almost bizarre to see her playing with her church toys on the bench. If we were in the real-world right now, she'd be going to nursery!
-She's so sweet and gives big open-mouthed kisses.
-My favorite thing is when I am standing and rocking her before bedtime and she'll lay her head on my shoulder and wrap her tiny arms around my neck.
-She loves her siblings and they adore her. She's such a lucky little girl to have so many people that love her.
We love you Lucy.
