#Cousins make the best friends. And these kids ARE best friends. They have so many fun sayings that they consistently shout together, like "full speed - stampede!" and "cousins together couldn't be better!" and have started calling themselves the "Cousin Crew" so when Jenna saw these shirts at Carters that say "Cousin Crew for Life" we knew that we had to buy them. (There was some tricky decision making about whether to get the pink and blue or just blue for all of them but, you know, decisions are hard sometimes, ha.)
We were going to mail one to Juniper, but were so glad that she ended up being here on the day that we gave the kids the shirts. She's an important part of our cousin crew, too, even if she lives far away. (Lucy calls her "My Juniper".)
I love these little stair-step kiddos. They go:

(clearly we are missing Molly, who did get a shirt but was inside sleeping at the time this picture was taken, which is really too bad.)
It's so fun. Because they are so close in age, but actually different ages - they frequently switch up which "group" they are playing with. They can play with the child older than them or younger than them with great enjoyment. It's not a specific break between groups and I think that is so valuable for long-lasting relationships. They love each other and we hope that they will throughout their whole lives.
And we can't forget the puppies! Technically they call Rugby their "uncle" but Ruby is Rugby's puppy, so she's officially a "cousin". They got their own matching shirts.
This matching cousin crew make a pretty great group!
