Happy Birthday Shantel! We got to celebrate Shantel's 36th birthday with her and are so grateful for her. She does so much for our family to take care of us. Each of the kids in particular just love her so much. We celebrated with some presents for her. She has been doing a lot of hiking this past year, but did not really have any hiking shoes, so I got her some nice hiking boots. Each of the kids really wanted to do something for her as well and all made or wrapped something for her to show her how loved she is. Here are some things that make Shantel so wonderful (recently).
-She is a great mother especially when the kids can be difficult. Even when they get upset she does not yell, but is patient and helps them through their struggles.
-She works really hard for our family. Sometimes that means she might wake up at 5 am for a week or two in a row to get things done to help our family.
-Shantel is always diligent in serving and helping others. That might be making dinner for someone even when it is not convenient or working hard in her calling, but she is an excellent example of Christlike service.
We are so glad to have her and so grateful to celebrate her birthday.
