Lagoon

One of our favorite homeschool traditions has become the annual homeschool lagoon day at the end of the year. This year Caleb was in kindergarten, so he got to come for the first time.

He was a little bit nervous about some of the big rides, but he loved the white roller coaster. He must have ridden it at least 20-30 times. At one point he and I went about 6 times in a row and there was no line so we just kept walking on. I'm pretty sure Shantel did the same thing with him a couple of times as well.

We were able to go with the Haderlie's and that was so much fun. We also had one of the homeschool families (Dani Martin and her kids) join as this year and that was super fun.

The kids also loved Rattlesnake rapids. They remembered last year when Shantel got soaked and were so excited to go again. This year Shantel took some pictures and I was the one when ended up getting soaked.

The kids also all played various games so they could win prizes and were so happy. You can see me loaded up below ready to make a run to the car to take some of that out of the park.

Also a few treats that the kids bought (they saved up a bunch to be ready for Lagoon day), including Lydia and Camille who decided to split a churro.

My favorite things of the day: Spending time with Shantel, riding the white roller coaster with Caleb and going on Cannibal with Austin. He was so excited to go on it and loved it.
