Kids coming down to see their stockings and "Santa gift." I love the second picture. You can see the excitement and anticipation on the kids faces and Lydia trying to stretch her head high so she can see what is over there.

I love this picture because you can see Shan grabbing a super cute picture of Lucy with her stuff, and then I included that picture right below.

After a little bit we passed out presents to the kids. (We opened all the presents from Walker family side at our house this year, so there were quite a few presents to open).

Once we got presents passed out, we let the kids start opening. It was so enjoyable, but I'll touch a few highlights.
Austin helping Caleb open his present (from Austin). Austin was so cute. Both Lydia and Austin had to save each week so they would have money for Christmas. Once Austin had his money, he went to the store and really wanted to get Caleb something he would love. He looked for a long time and Shantel suggested quite a few things, but in the end he thought Caleb would most want some candy and carefully picked out candy for him. He had some money left over to spend for Christmas and then he decided he wanted to get someone for the whole family. So he and I went back to the store- he was so cute looking for some very specific things. He eventually found a candy for Lydia, Shantel and then a candy for the whole family to share. What a special boy he is.

About halfway through we took a little break for breakfast.

The other things that was so amazing was Lydia. She had Lucy and spent her Christmas money on her. Then she decided she wanted to make a handmade gift for everyone in the family. For me- she made a this sign that I can hang on the wall that says, "Love in your home." She took the time to make something special for everyone on the family. She is such an incredibly kind and loving girl.
Also, Austin was at the perfect age for being excited about presents. This is him as he opens the drone that he really really wanted. I love the shock and excitement on his face.
After presents, we could Lucy down for a nap to get ready to head to West Jordan.
It was such a blissful Christmas morning. I am so grateful for these kids and love them so much. I am so grateful for Shantel and getting to be with her. Finally, I am so grateful for our Savior and his birth, life and death. Merry Christmas!
