A March Snow Day

We don't usually get very much snow in March. So although our social media feeds were filled with people complaining about the late and HUGE snowstorm, we were thrilled! David went out with the kids and helped structure their sledding hill and after over an hour of sledding we decided to make a snowman. This was the best packing snow we've probably EVER had and we spent the whole afternoon outside enjoying the spring snowstorm. We had a great snowball fight, made snow angels, and made a whole family of snowpeople.

David is really good at going out and playing with the kids in the snow; he's such an amazing Dad. I usually just get them dressed and send them out in the backyard to play without me. It was so fun to play together as a family (minus Lucy who was down for a nap and then watched from the window because it was COLD!). We are grateful for the snow and what that will mean for our water levels this summer and grateful for this happy afternoon together.
