Christmas Eve

Our Christmas Eve celebrations were lovely and filled with Christmas joys: family, excitement, yummy food, and Jesus.

We spent most of the day at the Peaden Home getting the house ready for Christmas. We finished wrapping presents, listened to Christmas music, sorted and organized the presents under the tree, and voted on the best wrapped gifts. We had been bringing the presents to the upstairs tree as we wrapped them throughout the month, but we decided to bring them all downstairs so it would be easier for Sue to see them. The kids were great helpers and the whole day was full of happiness.

And just like that - the tree with all it's gifts and love tucked safely underneath (around).

We wanted to come home for our own Christmas Eve so we left about 4 to drive back to our house. We had plans to return again in the morning so we left all of our stuff there and just brought ourselves back for the night.

Once at home we did our own present sorting, and started in on a few of our own traditions.

Christmas Roll, Christmas Eve Gift (a nativity puzzle), acting out the Nativity Story...

Finished our puzzle, set out our stockings, and then tucked the kids to bed.

Merry Christmas to all and to all a Good Night!
