We were excited to celebrate David for his birthday this year. He's such an incredible husband and father and we are lucky to have him. This year instead of candy-filled birthday bags, we wrote him notes to give him each day about the things that we love about him or that we love to do with him. Mentioned repeatedly was: playing chase the monster, playing games with him, how nice he is, and how much we love him.

HBW 5- You work so hard for us and our family. You're our hero! We are grateful for how well you take care of us and we love that you also spend time with us! HBW 4- We like to be with you ALWAYS. Even working with you at home in the yard is fun when you are there working with us. But we also love going places and having adventures with you! Here are our favorite places to go with you: Swimming + Cornbelly's - Lucy, Thanksgiving Point Children's Museum and Cornbellys - Caleb, Swimming - Austin, Go to the movie theater - Lydia, Hawaii (travel, explore, hike) - Mom.
HBW 3- Dad. one of our favorite things to do is play games with you. You are a great example of good sportsmanship and we learn so much from you. Plus, you are super fun! HBW 2- One of our favorite things is to snuggle up with you and a bowl of popcorn knowing we get to be with you for the next hour. We LOVE watching movies with you. Our favorite movies to watch with you:

HBW 1- When I asked the kids what they wanted to write to you about they wanted to say how much they like making things with you. You are such a kind and involved father and they (we) are blessed to have you. Things we like making with you: Making pancakes with dad - Lucy, Make building with the magnet blocks together - Caleb, Making banana bread and grilled cheese sandwiches - Austin, Making presents together (when you help me) - Lydia, I love building this family together with you - Mom.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY! You are the best husband and father a family could ask for. We are so grateful for you and so happy to celebrate you today. We love you so very much + hope you feel how loved and appreciated you are.
